The TEAR-AID Type A repair kit is a versatile solution for quickly and permanently sealing holes and tears. This transparent patch is suitable for many materials you come across while camping, traveling and using outdoor gear, such as tent fabric, ground sheets, sleeping bags, air mattresses, self-inflating mats, jackets and bags.

Thanks to the transparent finish, the repair remains discreetly visible on light, dark or colored surfaces. That makes this kit especially practical for gear you still use often and want to keep looking neat.

### Transparent patch with strong and elastic adhesion

Type A is known for its strong, flexible, water- and airtight adhesion. The patch moves with the material, which is important for gear that is folded, rolled up or put under strain during use.

This repair kit is intended for virtually all materials except PVC and vinyl. For PVC or vinyl, you need Type B. This makes Type A a particularly good choice for many textile and technical outdoor fabrics, but also for applications on materials including aluminum, stainless steel and polyester.

### Practical to use on the go or at the campsite

The kit is compact and easy to carry in your camping gear, car kit or travel repair kit. For good adhesion, first clean the surface and apply the patch with sufficient overlap around the tear or hole.

The kit contains:

- 1 strip of repair tape measuring 30 x 8 cm
- 1 reinforcement filament of 45 cm for tears along edges
- 4 alcohol wipes to clean the surface

The patch can be cut to size, so you can tackle both small holes and longer tears precisely.
